Ayden weighs 75 pounds, give or take a few ounces.  He is 49 inches tall.

He knows about 40-45 of his 52 letters (uppercase and lowercase.)  He recently showed us that he could count to 48 (with only a couple of minor mistakes/stumbles along the way.)  He can write numbers from 0-19 without help.  He can read about 10 sight words.

ALL ABOUT HIS BIRTHDAY:

The day before his birthday, Ayden was supposed to celebrate his birthday at school.  But, the poor guy wasn't feeling well.  His stomach was crampy and he was miserable and stayed home from school.  Poor guy.  We worried that he wasn't going to have a great birthday.  But, the next morning, on his birthday, he felt a lot better.  He didn't have much of an appetite, but he was happy and feeling better.  Phew!
Ayden woke up to the dining room decorated with Star Wars banners and his presents piled on the table.  His Star Wars cake and his football cupcakes were there too.  He asked for a Star Wars and Football themed birthday.  After seeing his cake first thing in the morning, he begged all day to have the Star Wars character toys off of it.  We told him that we wouldn't take them off until his party later that night, but that didn't keep him from trying to sneak them a few times.

We let him choose a couple presents to open before the party.  He chose one with Star Wars Lego people.  That was a huge hit!  He played with them most of the day after opening them.  He also opened one from his birth family with a watch and ninja turtle inside.  He wore the watch all day and used the ninja turtle as part of his battle of Star Wars people.
In the afternoon, Dad set up his Play Station (that hadn't been used in YEARS) and the boys played video games until it was time to go to the party.
Ayden requested a swimming party.  So, we met Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins at the pool.  We had a great time swimming.

The kids all tried to pick on Uncle Kurt a little - pretty sure Kurt won the battle.

After swimming we had a picnic of sloppy joes and hot dogs.  Ayden sat by the cake and snuck a few tastes of the chocolate frosting.  Finally, we lit candles and sang Happy Birthday.  Ayden was so excited to finally get to have his toys off of the cake.  He didn't even want to eat any cake.  He just wanted the toys. Even the next day, he didn't eat any of his cake leftovers.  Funny kid - he didn't have any of his birthday cake besides a little frosting.

After cake was presents.  Ayden LOVED EVERYTHING he opened!  (Thank you everyone!) He got more Legos, more Ninja Turtles, some shirts, Star Wars sheets, puzzles, books, The Force Awakens - Star Wars movie, a Whoopee cushion, a nerf dart gun, Star Wars cars, a Star Wars jelly belly dispenser, and more.

The next day, Ayden played with almost everything he was given - at the same time.  He built a lego fortress and had battles between Star Wars and Ninja Turtles characters.  Sometimes they were on the same teams, sometimes they were fighting each other.  He even used the nerf gun to shoot down Star Wars characters.  Not to mention, he was wearing one of his new shirts and his new watch and his new movie was on the TV in the background. (Unfortunately, Mom didn't think to take a picture.  It was a sight to see.)

Ayden,
Mom and Dad Love You!
Happy Birthday!
