Ayden turns 5!

(We asked Ayden some questions.  Here are his current responses.  There is definetly a pattern right now! Haha!  Most of them we could guess, but he surprised us with a few.)

• favorite dinosaur: "Raptors cuz they are fastest!"
• favorite clothes to wear: "A dinosaur t-shirt with shorts or sweatpants."
• favorite game: "Dinosaur hunting game on Dad's phone."
• favorite book: "Dinosaurs!"
• favorite sport: "Football"
• favorite drink: "Rootbeer"
• favorite breakfast food: "Hashbrowns"
• favorite lunch food: "Pizza Bites"

• favorite snack: "Tator-Tots"  (We would have guessed Lays BBQ chips)

Ayden, what do you want to be when you grow up?  (We expected to hear paleontologist or scientist who digs up dinosaurs because we just had a conversation a few days ago and that is what he told us he wanted to do.)  

• "A football player.  Well actually, I want to take care of my mom. And give her hugs and kisses."

Is there anything else you have as a favorite or that you want us to write down?

• "I like the Seahawks and the Lions."  (Hmmmmm....where did those teams come from?  First we are hearing those as "favorites.")

Ayden's birthday started with him getting a new coat, shirt, and hat which were unwrapped presents waiting for him on the couch.  He was excited to have a new raptor t-shirt.  And he was excited to find some small toy dinosaurs on the table and the Jurassic movie 4 pack.  Ayden even talked Dad into letting him open one present in the morning before his party.

Ayden spent the day with Grandma Susie watching Jurassic World and The Lost World - Jurassic Park.

The evening, when mom and dad were off work, was spent watching Jurassic World two more times.  Ayden was happy to have cousins, aunts and uncles, grandparents and even a few neighbors and friends drop by to wish him a happy birthday.
