Catching Up... Take 1.

Ooops!  Life is too fun and we haven't slowed down to catch up for awhile...

MAY:

• Memorial Weekend Camping Trip:

• Ayden learned to ride a bike without training wheels!!

• END OF SCHOOL YEAR:

• Mom chaperoned the junior high trip to Lagoon.  Ayden got to come along.  He is now Mom's roller coaster buddy!  He was so brave!  And he loved being tall enough to ride most rides!

• Preschool field trip to Bear World

• Preschool Class Party

• Last day of Preschool!  
• THANK YOU TEACHERS!

• Fun between games at ANOTHER softball tournament with Mom and Dad.

• Ayden's family portrait.  Mom framed it.  It's a keeper!

• The adults hunted for ground squirrels.  The girls weren't impressed.  

APRIL:

• Mom and Dad started playing softball in April and haven't stopped!  We LOVE it!

• Ayden loves ball parks and playgrounds!

• Dentist visit was a success!  No cavities - all healthy teeth!

MARCH & EASTER!!:

• March Steelhead fishing:
• Dad definitely won the fishing contest!  But we all had tons of fun!

• The scenery on the Salmon River in the spring is AMAZING!

• EASTER 2016:
• The theme of Easter was SPOILED!  Ayden was spoiled by the Easter Bunny, Mom and Dad, Grandparents, and his Birth Family!  Just check out all that loot!  Lucky kid!

• Grandma and Grandpa hosted an early Easter Egg hunt.  Ayden was the only grandchild able to come, so he found TONS of eggs!  He even rescued an easter egg from an alligator.
• (Ayden is sporting a fun black eye from stick to the face.)

• Dr. Suess dress up day at school.
• Ayden wanted to be the fish from the Cat in the Hat.  Mom had to improvise with a Cat in the Hat hat and a picture of the fish to stick to his shirt.

FEBRUARY:

• Starting in February, Ayden got to ride the bus from Mom's school to Preschool!
• First day on the bus!

• One day before catching the bus, Ayden saw a picture on Mom's board in her classroom.  A student had drawn a picture of Mom.  Ayden drew another picture of Mom to go with it.  

• More art from Ayden:

• Helping with the dishes?  Or playing with toys in the sink?  Or a little of both.  Definitely ended as a wet mess!

JANUARY:

• New Years Eve fun... 
• We partied at Grandma Susie's with cousins.  
• Cousin Lily didn't make it until midnight, but we didn't let her miss out on the festivities.
