AUNT MANDY - Love, Love, Love, being an aunt!!
UNCLE JAMES - The best uncle EVER!!!
MANDY'S OUCHIE!
Line drive to the forehead by 13 year old girl + Pitching from 30 feet without a screen = lesson learned the hard way.... over 28 stitches, broken bones, concussion... but I still love the sport!! And, I found that giant sunglasses covered it up quite well - LOL!
DIESEL AND KODA:
11 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!
We have been married 11 years!! We didn't celebrate or do anything fancy. We only saw each other for about 15 minutes the day of our anniversary, actually. But, we still are totally in love with each other!! :)
Adoption Update:
It is hard to be patient with the adoption process. Right now we are waiting for the right birth parents to choose us https://itsaboutlove.org/ial/profiles/26433611/ourMessage.jsf. We have been waiting almost two years for an adoption (over 10 years waiting and trying to build our family). We are also ready to look into other agencies besides LDS services. Hopefully we can find our little angel out there...
Sometimes I wonder why we can't have children. I wonder why Heavenly Father gave us this trial. I ache to be a mother. I ache for James to have the chance to be a father. He would be such a great dad!! Some days I have a pity party for myself. But then I snap out of it and count my blessings. James and I have a great relationship and love each other so much! We have amazing family on both sides!! We are members of an amazing, true church that gives us direction and purpose! We have a wonderful home in a wonderful area in a wonderful country! We have great jobs that we love! We are healthy and are able to enjoy the active hobbies that we love! Is life so bad really? No. Life is great! I pray for those who are not as fortunate as we are...we are so blessed!
